Ariana Grande announced her newest perfume on her Instagram story on July 31, 2023.
The release date for Ariana Grande’s newest perfume, Cloud Pink, is August 13, 2023.
Upon release, it’s only available at Ulta.com. On August 20, 2023, it is available in-store at Ulta, though some consumers reported some Ulta’s had testers in-store prior to August 20th.

Upon initial release, only one size of Ariana Grande Pink Cloud was available:
We originally thought Cloud Pink would only come in one size, similar to the other “Cloud flanker”: Cloud Intense 2.0. So the fact Cloud Pink is available in multiple sizes is very exciting.
Cloud Pink, in its largest size, is $3 more than Cloud, which is $65. Cloud Intense 2.0 also used to be $65, but the price was quietly increased to $68, which matches the price of Cloud Pink.
What is a flanker? When there are different versions of the same perfume, it’s often referred to as a “flanker” or “flankers.” A flanker perfume is a variation of an existing perfume that shares some characteristics with the original fragrance but introduces new notes or themes. This term is derived from the idea that the new fragrance is standing to the “flank” or side of the original, symbolizing its connection and difference simultaneously. They usually retain the original perfume’s name but add a new descriptor. Flankers are typically released to capitalize on the success of the original fragrance and to keep the brand name fresh in the minds of consumers.
Ariana Grande’s Cloud Pink is a flanker. It comes in the same bottle as the original Cloud perfume, except the light blue part is now pink. It would make sense that Ariana Grande would want to create another flanker for Cloud, as it’s undoubtedly Ariana Grande’s most popular and recognizable perfume.
So what does Ariana Grande Cloud Pink smell like?
There were lots of rumors and false information floating around before the release of Cloud Pink about what the notes were. Fragrantica even posted notes before the release and got it wrong. Here’s the official description of Cloud Pink:

Unfortunately, the new Cloud Pink perfume does not follow suit with Ariana Grande’s most recent releases (and reformulations) and does not use clean ingredients – more specifically Cloud Pink does not carry Ulta’s “Clean” label. Ulta’s Clean label prohibits the use of certain questionable ingredients like:
Originally, Ulta stated Cloud Pink had “Clean Ingredients”, as shown in the screenshot below.
However, just a few days later after we shared this, Ulta changed the description of Ariana Grande Cloud Pink and removed the “Clean Ingredients” label.
We are super disappointed that Ariana Grande chose to include paraben/phthalate/PFAS in her latest perfume.
Because of this, we won’t be buying or recommending Ariana Grande Cloud Pink.
