List of Discontinued MixBar Perfumes

Here is the full list of all the discontinued MixBar perfumes:

  1. MixBar Tangerine Squeeze
  2. MixBar Wood Elixir
 
Both Tangerine Squeeze and Wood Elixir were a part of the original release of MixBar perfume in 2021.
 
 More on these two perfumes below:

1. Tangerine Squeeze

Tangerine Squeeze has notes of clementine, grapefruit, frangipani, honeysuckle and vetiver.

2. Wood Elixir

Wood Elixir has notes of blackberry, rhubarb, lily of the valley, amber wood and patchouli.

Announcement of Discontinued MixBar Perfumes

How do we know that these MixBar perfumes are discontinued? 

Well, we can’t say with 100% certainty, as MixBar has never formally announced any discontinued perfumes. In fact, the MixBar website still features both Tangerine Squeeze and Wood Elixir on their website, though we’re pretty certain they’ve been discontinued, and the website is just outdated. The website only features the perfumes originally released, and not any newer releases like: Whipped Almond, Sparkling Hibiscus or Pear Blossom.

The assumption that these MixBar perfumes have been discontinued are based on the following:

  • Tangerine Squeeze & Wood Elixir have not been available for purchase on the Target website (or in-store) for a long time. 
  • Tangerine Squeeze & Wood Elixir have not been featured on MixBar’s Instagram account in a long time (Jan 2023 & July 2021 as mentioned earlier)
  • When comments are left on Instagram posts inquiring about Tangerine Squeeze or Wood Elixir, they go unanswered. This is different than comments inquiring about Vanilla Bourbon, where MixBar would respond that it would be re-stocked shortly.
  • In February of 2022, MixBar “refreshed” their Discovery Set, which removed Tangerine Squeeze, and added the newest MixBar fragrances: 
    • Whipped Almond
    • Cloud Musk
    • Sparkling Hibiscus
    • Coconut Palm
    • Vanilla Bourbon

  • When many MixBar perfumes were continuously out of stock, MixBar released the following statement on Instagram. After this, all the MixBar perfumes came back in stock, except Tangerine Squeeze and Wood Elixir

List of Available MixBar Perfumes

There are currently 8 MixBar perfumes available. Here is the full list of all the available MixBar perfumes:

    1. Coconut Palm has notes of coconut, vanilla and sea salt.
    2. Cloud Musk has notes of cardamom, iris, jasmine, cotton peony and tonka beans.
    3. Blackberry Tonic has notes of blackberry, lily of the valley, jasmine, musk wood and vanilla.
    4. Glass Rose has notes raspberry, bergamot, rose, peony and amber.
    5. Vanilla Bourbon has notes of bergamot, jasmine, apple blossom, Madagascar vanilla bean and sandalwood. (Related: MixBar Vanilla Bourbon Review)
    6. Whipped Almond has notes of Sweet Milk, Almond, Iris, and Sandalwood.
    7. Sparkling Hibiscus has notes of Bergamot, Hibiscus, Champagne Bubbles and Cashmere Musk.
    8. Pear Blossom has notes of Juicy Pear, Peony Petals, Apple Wood and White Musk. This is MixBar’s newest perfume (released in 2023).
